2010 audi q5 2.0 tdi 143bhp

Hello. Im thinking of chiping my q5. Im concerned about the turbocharger pressures (its a BorgWarner aka KKK, and quite weak for tuning ppl say), is it safe to chip? I also heard the these 2010 ecus have AT mode level 4. What is the procedure? can the remote switch be installed in my car? I live in portugal. thanks

Hello,

thanks for you posting and your interest in our products. The 2.0 TDI CR engine has been tuned many times by us. There is no risk for the turbocharger, and we never had a turbo damage on this model. Since you live in Portugal, you would need to visit one of our distributors in Spain to make the upgrade.

Thanks for you reply. Does the ECU need to be chipped or obd will do?

it is a software upgrade, without changing the chip. The data will be read out directly from the ECU. This will be made on the bench, OBD is not possible since the new VAG-cars have a tuning protection against OBD-Tuning
