another 2005 passat question.

I have recently purchased a 2005 passat sedan gls TDI PD 2.0 the 134 horse deisel motor. can this be chipped or do you remap the ecu. if either is possible is it best to get and install a boost valve first? looking to keep the motor close to stock minus the chipping and/or boost valve i'm not looking to rework the motor or to make it a weekend racer this is my daily driver, just looking to sport it up a bit

yes this car is tuneable...it is a flash-type update without soldering although ECU removal is required.

No other items are needed.

Gains about 30 hp. Where are you located?

located in southwest florida. about an hour and a half south of Tampa. So no need for bigger injectors, etc.? thats good news. any idea on how much torque increase?

hello,

you don't need to change your injectors. the torque increase is about 70 NM torque.
