chip over write

I recently had a recall on my jetta vr6 for the factory software program which was performed. How would this if any effect the software for my upsolute chip?

Thanks for your posting.

If they make a software update from the ECU the tuned software is overwritten and a new tuning is necessary. The best would be you contact your upsolute distributor where you made the tuning and let him know about it.

Thanks I thought this would have been done, seeing the performance of the car is not the same, aswell as the miledge drop. thanks. I will contact them.

I tried to contact the place that did the install of the chip and it looks like they might be out of business. I tried there web site but it takes me to another one. Anyone in Toronto get there chip installed by 10x tuning? Are they still around?
