epc light

Hi since having my seat alhambra 1.8t 20v uprated i have experienced a few problems my latest being my epc light flashing on at approx 3500 rpm.I have replaced dv and n75 valve but it still occurs,diagnostics show max boost pressure surrpassed anybody have any ideas what may be causing this.
