GTI or A4??

Ok so i thought i wanted to buy a 2001 A4 but now looking im thinking about 2001-2003 VW GTI. My questions is for tuning is the VR6 better? I like the idea of having boost with the 1.8T but i also like the 6 speed of the VR6 is 2003. Just asking for some feed back. What do y'all think?

for sure, a 1.8 t engine is better for tuning..since the results are much bigger than for the normal aspiratet VR6 engine.

you can get a 6-speed in some models of the 1.8T...like the 337, 20th AE, GLI, etc.
