S40 T4 Low Boost?? Above 4000rpm

Hi,
Had car chipped with no probs. The pulling power is much improved on low revs (up 4000rpm). But seems to be the same as before it was chipped after 4000 rpm. Thus on a straight road on the way to work I still only acheive the same speed as before. Its the 2001 model.
Has anyone had simaler probs with volvos? I dont have any guages or anything so cant actually tell if my boost is dropping off, but cant think of anything else it could be.
P.S if your reading this and wondering about getting it done then take my advice. Despite this slight prob I am still finding the car is much better at low revs. Dont get the long annoying lag as before. Hopefully this wont take much to sort and i'll be praising it even more.
Any help will be appreciated.

Just drove to work and am starting to think that perhaps there is no difference. There def seems summat better at low rpm but for straight line speed there is nothing in it.
I am taking it into the garage on Friday to have the rear end suspension bushes changed so i will ask them to have a look at it.
The turbo was only fitted 4 wks ago and all mechanical parts seem sound. I will be watching the passat problem with great interest. I will let you know what volvo say.
