Ive got a pretty early version of Upsolutes chip on my 2001 GTI 1.8t , AWD engine code. I got the chip in California, so it was likely tuned for 91 octane. I have since moved to Florida where 93 is the norm. Im getting the feeling that the chip isnt up to handling the better fuel, thus throwing off fuel trims, etc... I was wondering if there was an update for something like this?

Hello,
The best way is to contact your distributor from california and he can see if you hav the newest tuning release version for your car inside. Normaly it should be no problem with the chip if you take 91 or 93 octane patrol but we need to know which version you hav inside to see if we can do something, so the best way is to contact your distributor.
